A Texas transplant to Los Angeles. Peter Daily is no stranger to the music scene. Peter got his start playing drums for Dallas based underground hip hop group ill Harmonics. It was on a tour with ill Harmonics that Peter met underground hip hop artist & Southern California neighbor Pigeon John who at the time was looking for a drummer to add to his live show.
While on a break from tour with Pigeon John, Peter began to write down ideas that he had been having for songs. After jotting down three or four ideas he headed into the studio with music producer Chris James formerly of the DreamWorks band Self. Four songs later his first EP was complete. Although he was excited about his new project it was back on the road with Pigeon John to join up with hasidic reggae artist Matisyahu. Three North American tours later, Peter was ready to take a break and focus on his art. Temporarily re-locating to Orlando Florida to work with friend/music producer Flynn Adam of LA Symphony would prove critical in the development of his future record "Who is Peter Daily?".
While Peter enjoyed his stay in Orlando (just six months) he would find himself back in the City of Angels and embarking once again with friend Pigeon John as they head out on a 3 month tour with the likes of Of Montreal, Mike Patton, & RJD2. During the tour with Mike Patton Peter met Miho Hatori formerly of the band Cibo Matto who would later lend backing vocals to his record "Who is Peter Daily?" on the song "Without You".
Finally back in Los Angeles, Peter would finish writing his new record and head to Dallas to finish up the tracking. At last his record was ready to go to print. A year later "Who is Peter Daily?" was released on Sideshow Media Group and has had recent press in URB Magazine as well as Music Connection Magazine. Since it's release Peter has been playing the LA scene hitting notable venues The Viper Room and The Troubador.
