Petar Stojkovik

Petar Stojkovik (born 11/09/1985 in Skopje) is a popular young actor from the Republic of Macedonia who works in theater, television and film. He is a third year student, acting department at the Faculty of dramatic arts - Skopje.

Biography

Petar has started acting before he went to college. As a young boy, he was in the drama studio of Magdalena Rizova - Chernih. There he had his first experience on the stage in a children's play at the Macedonian National Theater. Also during this period he had his very first engagement in a show at the Macedonian Radio - Television.

After he left the studio, his talent was recognized by his macedonian language teacher in high school, Mme Elica Mladenovska. In cooperation with Ms Sofija Todorova Teodor, a postgraduate student of the Academy of Sanct Petersburg in Sofia (Bulgaria) on the department of TV and Film directing, he worked on the theater play "Dear Father", based on the letters of Franz Kafka. Its premiere was on the 15th of May 2004 at the little stage of the Macedonian National Theater. After the great success of the play and the excellent critics by the media, he has entered the world of theater. The outstanding acceptance by the audience was a decisive factor for him to continue the road to become a popular actor. The next year, he had another performance in "Anastasia" where he played the role of Dominique, written and directed by Sofija Teodor. The text "Anastasia" was the first play by Sofija Todorova Teodor. In the text she tries to speak about the many socially repressed fears, taboos, including the question the sex and gender sensitivity. The play treats the of the male-female relation put in the being and the confrontation with it.

In 2005 he applied at the Faculty of dramatic arts - Skopje, where he still studies on the acting department, in the class of prof. Vladimir Milcin and ass. prof. Suzana Kirandziska. He has performed on the Academic Stage of the FDA, Macedonian National Theater and Drama Theater, and the festivals "Vojdan Cernodrinski" - Prilep, DAF - Kocani, SKENA UP - Prishtina, Skopsko Leto and others.
