Persecution and attacks against Ex-Muslims in Kerala

On, August 2, 1947, Ramasimhan, his brother Dayasimhan, Dayasimhan's wife Kamala, their cook Raju Iyer and other members of their family were brutally slain by Islamist Jihadis in Malaparamba, Malappuram district, merely two weeks before the independence of the country. The reason was bizarre, yet, heart-wrenching: they chose to renounce Islam and accept Hinduism as their religion. This incident was the first recorded instance that marks the birth of Islamic terrorism in Kerala.
In 1997, an Islamist terrorist mob surrounded ex-Muslim and rationalists E.A.Jabbar's home at night, intending to kill him.He was saved just because the Islamist terrorist mob cut the wrong telephone wire instead of the one to his home, and E.A.Jabbar was able to make a phone call to the nearest police station.
In 2003, Ex-Muslim and rationalists E.A.Jabbar was manhandled at a public meeting at Moovattupuzha in 2003.
In 2008, Ex-Muslim and rationalists E.A.Jabbar faced assault from a mob rushed to the stage raising Takbeer to attack at Poovattuparamba,over the lesson `Mathamillatha Jeevan’(Life without religion) in a social science textbook.
In 2015, ISIS terrorist organization's blog call for 'Bangladesh-style' attacks on Kerala rationalists and Ex-Muslims of Kerala,"Those who insult the Prophet should be killed and to carry it out a Muslim does not require any permission," Mujahir,ISIS blog, wrote in Malayalam in a post that is several thousand words long and claimed nearly every currently trending event as a justification for further attacks. "If you are not anti-democratic, anti-secular, anti-feminist, anti-nationalist, anti-LGBT, anti-homosexual, anti-Zionist. You are not a proper Muslim.", the blog also asserted the Islamist ideology.
In 2016 ,E.A.Jabbar faced death threats from ISIS terrorist organization via their supporting blog
On August 24, 2021, ISIS terrorist agents plot to assassin Jamitha Teacher, an Ex-Muslim rationalist from Kerala. The NIA arrested two women ISIS agents from Kerala, Misha Siddique and Shifa Haris, who were trained to kill Jamitha under the direction of ISIS leader Muhammad Ameen alias Abu Yahya who was taken into custody by NIA in March 2021.
In August 2021, Abdul Khader Puthiyangadi,an Indian citizen, a rationalist from Kerala , was arrested by UAE police in 2021 without bail and sentenced to prison in UAE for 3 years for criticizing Islam on social media in his native language Malayalam.Islam Religious leaders and Islamist from Kerala forced UAE police to arrest him,which they initially declined,but of the continuous presure from an Islamist religious leader from Kerala,they had to arrest him.
