Percy Jackson

Percy Jackson is a fictional character in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and The Olympians series.



First Apperance


Percy made his first apperance in The Lightning Theif. He is shown to be quick-witted and smart. He is on vacation with his mother when his friend a Saytr, Grover, comes to his house. Percy and his mother, Sally, flee and make it to Half-Blood Hill- a hill protecting the magic borders of Camp Half-Blood. A training Camp for Demigods. Percy's mother is taken to the underworld and Percy fights the Minotaur on the hill. He manages to rip out the beast's horn and make it to The Big House with Grover.

Percy awakes in a bed being fed nectar and ambrosia by a girl named Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena. Percy stays at Camp Half-Blood. While playing a game of capture the flag, he is claimed as Posideon's son, the Sea God. Everyone is suprised because the Big Three (Zeus, Posideon, Hades) made a pact after World War two not to have any children. When that child reaches sixteen they will choose the fate for Olympus. The original child to make that decision was Thalia, daughter of Zeus, but while escorting Annabeth, Grover and Luke to camp, she dies on Half-Blodd hill and her father turns her into a pine tree that protects the camp from Monsters.



Weapons
Riptide/Anaklusmos: A sword discuised as a pen given by Chiron . The sword was originally Posideon's.

Coming soon will be book five, The Last Olympian.

The movie, Percy Jackson and The Lightning theif is scheduled to come out July 2, 2010. It is directed by Chris Columbus. The cast right now is unknown.
