The Pennsylvania German is the Pennsylvania German language edition of , a free, open-content encyclopedia. Started in March 2006, it had nearly 1,491 articles as of October 10, 2007, making it the 137th largest language edition. This language edition has hardly any encyclopedic information, many tiny articles are more similar to dictionary entries and would be deleted in e.g. English . Many articles are geographical stubs or consists of genealogical information. The edition is based on the German MediaWiki version, only 3 % of the expressions are translated (spring 2008). In March/April 2008, two registered users indicated on their babel list language level 3 ("fluent"), four others level 1 ("basic"). |
