Enterprise Markup Language

Enterprise Markup Language(EML) is a free, open source web development language for producing sites with dynamic content. Much like a cross between HTML and PHP, it uses the familiar markup language format to carry out more complex actions, including variable manipulation, for loops, if statements, and SQL queries. EML was developed by HBL Industries and the most recent version is version 1.4.

Goals
The purpose of EML is to provide a simple language, which can be grasped by anyone who knows HTML, while also providing a higher level of functionality than more basic Markup Languages. EML uses approximately 12 main commands, making it fast and easy to learn for people with markup language and/or programming experience. EML was also designed with the intention of providing enough higher level functionality to suit the needs of more advanced web-developers. EML also has a comparatively small compilation size, at around 22kb, making it capable of serving web sites with a lot of traffic at high speeds.
