On September 2, 1992 Kreutzer, on parole from Illinois, murdered Louise Hemphill in Louisiana, Missouri. On June 6, 1994 Paul Kreutzer was sentenced to Death for this crime. Kreutzer was executed on April 10, 2002 via Lethal Injection. Allegations of beastility forced upon by his parents as a child as well as physical abuse may have been contributing factors in the murder that Mr. Kreutzer committed. Kreutzer was the 18th inmate executed in 2002, the 767 inmate executed after capital punishment came back into effect in 1977, the 4th inmate executed in Missouri in 2002, the 57th inmate executed in Missouri since the restablished of capital punishment in 1977, and the 759th male inmate executed since capital punishment was brought back in 1977. He is possibly the only person to be executed that was born in Gravette, Arkansas.
