Patrick Voller

Patrick Franz Pitang Voller (born November 26, 1973 in Jos/Nigeria) is Secretary General of the Small and Medium Sized Entrepreneurs Union of the European People's Party (EPP).
Early life
Voller graduated with distinction at the Monastery Boarding High School Kremsmünster where he also was elected President of the Students Council.
He did a one year exchange students programme at the Hixson High School in Chattanooga/TN, USA.
He holds a Masters Degree in law (University of Vienna) but he did also some business language diplomas at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Within his studies, he did his Erasmus-semester at the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium.
At the Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna, IT he achieved a Post-graduate Diploma in International Relations.
Professional career
* Summer 1997: Assistant of Austrian Commercial Counsellor at the Austrian Embassy in Washington DC, USA
* 1998: University assistant and lecturer in Public International Law and International Relations Department at the University of Linz, AT
* Summer 1999: Legal intern at the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) in Budapest, HU
* 1999-2000: EU government relations consultant at Shandwick Public Affairs & Governmental Relations in Brussels, BE
* 2000: Trainee in Legal Department of the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt, DE
* 2001-2003: project assistant and head of cabinet of the Secretary General of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce
* since January 2004: Nominated Secretary General of the Small and Medium Sized Entrepreneurs Union of the European People's Party
Personal life
Patrick Voller is married; two children.
