Patrick McCarthy (announcer)

Patrick McCarthy (born March 2, 1995) is an American sports broadcaster. He serves as the play-by-play announcer for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, Princeton Tigers football and . He also serves in as a fill-in announcer for the Philadelphia Phillies television broadcasts.
Early life
McCarthy is the son of Philadelphia Phillies and NFL on CBS announcer, Tom McCarthy. When McCarthy was young, his father, then the announcer for the Trenton Thunder would call games with him sitting on his lap. He has also announced games for Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania.<ref name="Iron Pigs" />
His announcing style takes influence from his father, Scott Franzke and Dan Shulman.<ref name="McCarthy" />
