Participationism

Participationism
It's roots and incubation stems from the founders collaborative efforts and experiences as art directors working with writers in advertising.
What sets participationism apart from other art movements is it's inclusive nature. It takes a minimum of two people to inspire a work. One's participation can be a simple as a word, a mark, a sound a thought, a motion an edit or as complex and the remaining portion of the completed work. One prime example of "Participationism" is Mike Tesch's Rhyme art. link titleTesch ask the participant and buyer to give him a "word" for inspiration. And he then creates the final painting including the provided word.
