Pamela Holm

Pamela Holm is an American author of contemporary fiction residing in San Francisco, California. Her most recent novel, published by MacAdam/Cage, is The Night Garden ; she has also written a memoir, The Toaster Broke, So We're Getting Married. Ms. Holm, with composer Jim Fournadis, wrote and produced a musical comedy entitled, Lovesick - the Cat Allergy Musical. As an essayist, her writing has appeared in The San Francisco Chronicle, The Denver Post, Fresh Yarn, Violet Magazine and various other publications. She is currently working on her third novel and preparing for the second production of Lovesick.
Biography
Pamela has traveled extensively, both in the U.S. and abroad; before arriving in San Francisco, she lived in New Zealand and San Jose, California.
Her pre-literary résumé includes painting needlepoint patterns, installing neon signage, designing luggage, enlarging photos from weapons tests sites, decorating sets for rap videos, and sewing hats for the Pillsbury Doughboy.
She has one daughter, currently attending school at Oberlin College in Ohio.
