Paloma Reynosa is is the leader of the Reynosa Cartel in Mexico. She is also the daughter of Pedro Hernandez, the man who killed Gibbs' wife and daughter. She is also the sister of Mexican Department of Justice Official Alejandro Rivera. Reynosa captured Gibbs and ordered him to start working for her or she would kill his family and friends. On May 25th, Paloma, along with two of her men attacked Jackson Gibbs' shop. However, it appears Gibbs warned his father about Paloma. Jackson fought back with his Winchester rifle and escaped as Paloma`s men fired on his shop. Four months later, Paloma was ambushed by NCIS and had been lured into a save house. Vance has DiNozzo bring him a note while in a meeting with Rivera. He tells Vance that Gibbs has survived and is in the safe house. Vance puts the note down and leaves. Rivera sees that the note says, "Paloma Reynosa dead." Rivera arrives beliving Paloma to be dead and fires at the safe house, beliving Gibbs and his father to be inside. NCIS pulls up and arrests him in the sting operation. After being arrested, it was revealed it was actually Paloma who was in the house, and Alejandro had accidentally killed his sister. Paloma then recited the poem of the Spider and the Fly as her last words.
