Painted In Blood is an American heavy metal band formed in Columbia, Missouri. Painted In Blood was formed in 2010 when Guitarists Josh Klingenberg and Eric Roberts responded to an advertisement posted by vocalist Adam Arcane on craigslist. The band's current line-up comprises founding members Adam Arcane, Eric Roberts, and Josh Klingenberg. Bassist Austin Pegg and drummer Jeremiah Pellin were added in 2014. The band's first album was released in 2013 and was entitled Carnival of Souls. The album contained ten tracks and met with a positive critical response. This led to an increase in social awareness and allowed them an opportunity to open for touring acts Static X, Emmure, Asking Alexandria, Motionless In White, and Crown the Empire.
In 2015 Painted In Blood collaborated with producer Fred Archambault and drummer Brandon Saller of Atreyu. Together they produced the bands most well known songs: "Frankenstein Made Women", "Black House", and "Deadly Friend". These tracks were released exclusively on the bands website and will be included on the their upcoming album The Devil's Book.
