Oscar Wegner

Oscar Wegner (born 1939 in Argentina) is a tennis coach. He is credited as the first coach to draw a distinction between the way the best players played and the way the game was taught by the governing teaching organizations in the USA. He has authored two books about tennis titled You Can Play Tennis in 2 Hours and Play Better Tennis in 2 Hours. He also has several tennis instructional DVDs. In 2007 efforts were started to form a certification organization for those who subscribe to his tennis teaching methods. This organization is called Modern Tennis Methodology Coaches Association and continues to steadily grow. |
