Oscar Santana

Oscar Santana, (born March 30, 1978, in ) better known as Big O (real name Oscar Zaballos), is a radio personality and former co-host of the Big O and Dukes Show on WJFK-FM in Washington, D.C..
Early life
Although Santana was born in Bolivia, he spent his childhood in . He attended Good Counsel High School, and is a graduate of West Virginia University.
Career
Santana began his broadcasting career at in Washington, D.C., where he was an intern for The Sports Junkies. There he met fellow intern Chad Dukes. Together they created the Big O and Dukes Show which debuted in the evening (6 - 10 p.m.) timeslot following The Sports Junkies. The show's initial run ended in 2005 when CBS Radio flipped WHFS's format to spanish language, and rebranded the station as . CBS Radio abruptly cancelled the Big O and Dukes Show shortly after Norris arrived (replacing it with the Ed Norris Show).
In June 2006, Santana and Dukes moved to Phoenix, Arizona to replace KZON's The Phil Hendrie Show upon the retirement of Phil Hendrie. The Big O and Dukes Shows run in Arizona ended on June 21, 2007 when KZON flipped its format to hip hop, becoming 101.5 JAMZ.
After a short hiatus, Santana and Dukes returned to the Washington, D.C. airwaves. On July 16, 2007 The Big O and Dukes Show debuted on WJFK-FM in the evening timeslot (7:00 - 11:00 p.m.), following the station's flagship Don and Mike Show. In 2008 the show was moved to mid-days beginning at 10 a.m. following The Junkies and ending at 3 p.m. preceding the Mike O'Meara Show.
In July of 2009, WJFK changed to an all sports format and The Big O and Dukes show was split up. Chad Dukes joined former Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington on the LaVar Arrington Show with Chad Dukes while Santana continued his side projects.
On Monday, December 7, 2009, Santana joined the Mike O'Meara Show podcast.
Side projects
Santana is also the co-host of Tech 411, a one-hour evening program which premiered on WJFK on January 31, 2009. The show features Santana and co-host Todd Moore discussing new tech products, trends, and technology in the news.
