Marriage is finding the right bride and making the marriage work. In an increasingly difficult world of finding the right match, struggles our indecisive hero Kadhir. Synopsis
Oru Ponnu Venum is a short film that focuses on a Bachelor Kadhir looking for a bride of his Match. His sidekick Barathi helps him find a good bride. Kadhir first comes across girl named Nithya. She has boyfriends and Kadhir doesn't like it. He then comes across Gomathi, a horrible singer and a bad dancer. He doesn't like that either. He then comes across a girl named Kalai who loves him. Kalai has aphasia and it doesn't match Kadhir. Kadhir lastly comes across vali who treats him like a slave. One day She calls him saying saying theres an emergency in her house. When he reaches there, she says there's a stench in her bathroom. He runs away saying he wants a good-hearted girl not a girl who makes him work. His friend Barathi even gets married and gets a child. Poor Kadhir doesnt becomes a bachelor and never marries even when he is old.
Critical Reception
This short film was released on June 30,2014 on Youtube. It was also posted on Facebook By Pradeep. It got more than 3,900 views. It got positive feedback from critics. People of facebook and youtube considered it to be a laugh riot and praised the concept of the storyline.
