Chal Jhoothey is an upcoming Bollywood film, directed By Vishwanath Sharma, under the banner of Om Entertainment. The film is currently under production & will go on floors in mid March 2013. Cast *Shaleen Bhanot *Gamya Wijayadasa *Kiran Srinivas *Madhura Naik *Nikhil Ratnaparkhi *Ranjeet Synopsis of Chal Jhoothey The Story revolves around six people, i.e.: Sid, Aarya, Nisha, Simran, Rocky and Paaji (Sid's Dad). Sid runs a pub and Rocky is his side kick/friend and always loves to eat. Nisha and Sid are in love, Nisha wants to marry Sid, but Sid is afraid of telling his father about Nisha. (Nisha is a doctor and she works in a hospital). Sid and Simran are buddies since their college days. Simran is a tom boyish type of person, they have a common passion for music and have a dream of starting a Rock Band one day... Whenever Simran asks Sid to start a band he asks for one more musician, then Simran reminds him of Aarya, who was a common friend and a good musician… Through Simran we com e to know that Aarya is a son of Business tycoon but after his Father's death, his uncle took over the business and threw him out, Aarya and Simran also love each other but are hesistate to express their feelings. Sid agrees with Simran to include Aarya in his Band and he also asks him to stay in his Bungalow.. Sid finds the chemistry between Simran and Aarya and wants to unite them. Sid is a natural and constant liar but he has a heart of gold which makes him lovable... Nisha always tells Sid to leave his knack of lying, though Sid tries but fails constantly... One Night Aarya proposes to Simran with a shaadi ka joda and asks Simran to wear it. The very next day Sid’s Paaji (Balwant Singh) suddenly comes to Sid’s house with the proposal of his friend’s daughter marriage with Sid but after watching Simran in shaadi ka joda in the house he mistakes her as her daughter in law …. The comedy of errors starts here... How they speak a lie to save the day and how that one lie piles up and becomes endless as well as brings all sorts of problems into their lives...the series of lies, confusions, drama and a healthy dose of message are set to win all hearts... Paaji has doubts on Sid’s marriage. ..He keeps finding clues, day & night through which he wants to reach the truth, meanwhile Paaji faces an accident and in hospital he meets Nisha, he likes her very much and discovers the chemistry between Sid & Nisha, he takes Nisha on his side to play a game against Sid, Aarya, Simran and Rocky. He makes different plans to put them in trouble and how finally Sid recovers from his bad habit of lying and evolves as a human being… As a son, lover and a friend.. The interesting age old tussle between two generations is very beautifully depicted… On the surface it looks like a situational family comedy but at the bottom there is much more that meets the eye & touches the heart, an essence of emotions, family values, generation gap, love and friendship which is the soul and is of course the USP....
