Orb-3D

Orb-3D, is a game published and developed by the company High-Tech Expressions (Partially developed by Software Toolworks) in 1990, licensed for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
The game takes place in a space setting, and the story of the game is stated in a brief text on a scroll presented if the player does not press start right away. "An evil wizard, known as Krohn, threatens the safety of the entire galaxy. Thirty chambers stand between you and Krohn. Each chamber contains manifestations of the wizard's black magic. Krohn must be stopped. The fate of the galaxy is in your hands...".
The player controls a spherical ship by pressing up or down on the directional pad to move two paddles on the left and right ends of the screen up or down and press either the A or B buttons to move the sphere closer or farther away depending on the current position. Having the sphere approach the paddles would send it back in the other direction while also acting as if the player pressed A or B. The objective of the game was to have the ship collide with whatever object occupied the board on the current level. The space sphere will eventually run out off fuel, forcing the player to head to "VERN'S ORB-O-RAMA EAT HERE & GET GAS". The player must enter through hoops between the foreground and the background before they all close to regain fuel. Sometimes, a creature appears instead of the gas station. To defeat it, the player must drop into it's eyes.
The first level is bubbles. Fly into them to destroy them, destroy them all to win. Sometimes a star shall appear and having it contact a paddle will make another orb. If one of the two orbs miss, it will disappear without affecting the other orb or the fuel supply.
The second level is bowling. The player must hit the correct pins to knock them all down. If the player does not hit the correct pins, they stand up once more.
