Opal Carew

Opal Carew is a romantic fiction author who writes a variety of subgenres of romance, most notably erotic romance. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband and their two sons.

Biography

Opal was born in Toronto, Canada. She attended the University of Waterloo studying Mathematics and Computer Science. Upon graduation, she spent 15 years as a computer programmer/analyst. When she left the working world to have children, she began to write.

Under her real name, Elizabeth Batten-Carew, she has written 11 electronically published stories(called eBooks). These range from short stories and novellas to full length novels.

In 2004, she received her big break after she signed with agent Emily Sylvan Kim of the Prospect Agency. Opal's erotic romance novel, TWIN FANTASIES, sold to St. Martin's Press within a week as part of a three book deal.
