Oogwave

oogwave is a Software as a Service (SaaS) application for enterprise level and cross organizational collaboration. A product of oogwave Technologies Private Limited, oogwave was initially released to the public in September 2011.
History
The first version of oogwave was launched in September 2011, by Toronto based oogwave INC which was founded in the summer of 2010.
Product Evolution
The initial version of oogwave app was designed to function as a collaboration platform where anyone could sign-up and create a work group or join work groups created by other users. It was designed to facilitate formation of cross organization groups of employees and external entities such as consultants and freelancers. The app also allowed consultants and freelancers to collaborate online with multiple organizations - using a single oogwave account.
Features
Oogwave is a platform for creating an enterprise-wide collaboration network, and provides tools for enterprise level social networking, file sharing, work management and communication. Oogwave supports collaboration at organization level and group level. At organization level the platform facilitates networking with peers across all departments, while at group level the emphasis is on task management and intra group communication.<ref name="GA" />
