Only Enemies Tell The Truth... Friends And Lovers Lie Endlessly is the first of two debut albums from Mikal, the American rock musician. Official release date: January 12th, 2010. The album contains acoustic versions of 4 songs that also appear on Mikal's full length debut, "Soundtrack From A Happy Ending". The song "" was inspired by the television show "Scrubs". Viral website campaign Prior to the release of the album, several websites were launched in secret, as a viral campaign to promote the release. Among these are "http://savingyoufromyourselves.com", a site intended to be perceived as a music censorship organization whose latest victim would be Mikal. Also launched was "http://onlyenemiestellthetruth.com", a parody of a celeb gossip site, which lampoons Mikal and the album. The character "Amanda" from the song "The 4 AM Wake Up Call" also came to life with a myspace page at http://myspace.com/hellomynameismanda. Artwork For the album's artwork, Mikal enlisted the services of Kamil Vojnar. It features a little girl angel, portrayed by Timea Campo.
