On a Rainy Summer Day

Plot
Dr. Phill is a fictional character in the children's book On a Rainy Summer Day by Rachel Scott. In this book a 10 year old girl creates a play with her friends about Dr. Phill after seeing her father watching the show Dr. Phil. They enjoy creating newscasts and pretending to be on t.v. Here is most of the play.

Childhood

When Dr. Phill was a wee lad his parents often lovingly referred to him as "the Phill Babe". Growing up in a remote town in Ohio, he befriended Katiegeary who became the pop star sensation Dianna Montana. He helped her through many problems including a major identity crisis at the age of 10. He and Katiegeary where never in "in crowd" because of Katiegeary's exotic sense of style and his constant insistence on wearing the hat that would later become his trade mark. Later, he started a "show" helping fellow peers through many adolescent traumas. This was filmed in Katiegeary's attic and was only seen by close friends.

Career

After attending St. Vincent- St. Mary High school Dr. Phill lost touch with Katiegeary and started focusing on his own career. His show grew into an actual television production viewed by several hundred. This show was aired on channel 1934. A film producer from ABC was flipping through channels one Saturday and was so impressed he asked if Dr. P-shizzl would become a regular on his channel. And well.... you know the rest.

Personal Life

Dr. Phill has reveled that he has a brother and sister. His sister is four years younger than him and his brother four years older. They have never appeared on his show and have never been interviewed. Dr. Phill's parents aren't quite so private. Their names are Mike and Beth and have not only been on his show, but have helped Dr. Phil through many of his own personal problems. Dr. Phill has never reveled his real name and even les is known about his family. On his show he simply refers to his wife as "Wife" and it is not known how many children they have or what he looks like off camera. Some reports state that his baldness and facial hair are fake.
