Ashley Lorette

Ashley Maria Lorette(born October 12 1993) is a fictional character from the book, Ashley. She always dreams of becoming a writer and if she isn't successfull in writing, she'll be a model. She has knee-length, brunette hair.

Life
Ashley was born to Richard and Maria Lorette. She has two sisters, Meghan and Melanie, one brother, Eric, and a dog named Scarlett.
Her friends, Lia, Vanessa, Sherry and Dana, always stay together and have been friends since they were 6. Ever since then, they always stuck up for each other and helped with tricky things.
Ashley's enemies are Bianca and the Biancettes, Linette, and Penelope. Ashley was embarassed by Bianca because in the 3rd grade, Bianca pulled Ashley's pants down and then started pointing and laughing. Ashley was considered "uncool". Then, when Ashley entered high school, she tried to become popular and is successful, while Bianca tries to become popular and is unsuccessful. Linette tries to make Ashley unpopular by showing baby pictures of Ashley which is an unsuccessful plan because everyone that sees the pictures thinks they are cute which makes Ashley more popular. Penelope tries to steal her popularity by handing out flyers that showed a nice picture of Penelope and a fake, horrible, picture of Ashley. In the end, everyone sees the truth.
Ashley's friends are Lia, Vanessa, Sherry and Dana. The five of them have been friends since they were 6. The story is one sunny day, they all went to Drinder Park seperatly. They all asked their parents if they were allowed to play by themselves and their parents said yes. Ashley and Lia went to the swings and Vanessa, Sherry and Dana went to the monkey bars. Then, a girl came up to Ashley and started telling her that she was ugly. The other girls walked up to the mean girl and started saying " Why would you speak to someone like that? Is that how you would like to be treated?" and then the girl backed off. Ashley thanked the girls for standing up for her and then Vanessa, Sherry and Dana hugged Ashley. That made Lia feel left out so Ashley asked Lia to join their hug. Then, Ashley said "Let's be friends". Then, the other girls agreed and they all played together. Their parents also became friends, too.

Family
Meghan
Meghan Lorette is Ashley's older (by 2 years) sister. She is always trying to get secrets from Ashley's diary to spread. She has shoulder-length, deep, blonde hair and is captain of her college cheerleading team, the Flunderton Fish. Her best-friend is Mara Kowelski, Dana's big sister. She is athletic and intellectual.

Melanie
Melanie Lorette is Ashley's younger (by 6 years) sister. She is always asking her parents for a guinea pig but her parents say no, considering the fact that she already has a kitten. She is always invading Ashley and Melanie's privacy. She has waist-length, dark, straight, brunette. Her best-friend is Elissa Minkle. She is very smart for her age and is being considered for the "Young Geniuses" program.She currently goes to Dongerham Elementary.

Eric
Eric Lorette is Ashley's younger (by 13 years) brother. He is almost always chewing on something. He goes to
Rushwall Daycare centre. His only friend there is Jack Hamhill. He is usually showing improvement in his vocabulary and in his actions which means that he is making wiser actions.

Scarlett
Scarlett is Ashley's puppy. Scarlett is a golden retriever puppy with cute, brown eyes. Scarlett is about as small as a baby. Eric likes to ride on her back sometimes although he gets in trouble for it.

Friends
Lia
Lia Hansen is Ashley's best-friend. They've been friends since elementary scool. She lives in a mansion right beside Ashley's mansion. She has a hamster named Dasher. Her family has 9567 million dollars and Ashley's family has 98,768 million dollars. Lia is assistant captain of the cheerleading team, Vinley Bay Seagulls.

Vanessa
Vanessa Gregory has been Ashley's friend since elementary school. She is not rich like Ashley and Lia, but she has a happy life with her parents and older brother. She has a cat named Flinky and Flinky had two kittens named Happy and Lucky. Vanessa's nickname is 'Ness'. She lives in a three bedroom house and has the smallest room in her house, though it isn't small. She is a flyer on the cheerleading team which means that she gets thrown in the air and then caught. Ashley and Lia are also flyers.
