Olin Eugene "Jack" Armstrong (June 5, 1953 - September 20, 2004) was a civilian contractor for the construction firm Gulf Supplies Commercial Services of the United Arab Emirates, who was kidnapped along with his two colleagues from an upscale house in the Baghdad area on September 16, 2004. Following the expiration of a 24 hour deadline by the group's captors to have all women to be released from Abu Ghraib being held by coalition forces, he was subsequently beheaded on 20 September 2004, revealed in a video that became widely circulated across the internet following its release. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is believed to have personally beheaded Armstrong, similar in manner to his identification as the executioner in the Nicholas Berg case and subsequent video. The following day, the group beheaded fellow American Jack Hensley, and threatened to kill their third hostage, Briton Kenneth Bigley, unless the United States met their demands to free all women prisoners in Iraqi jails.<ref name="employer"/> Bigley was beheaded on October 9, 2004.<ref name=factbox/>:
