Biography
Oleg Snetkov - german conductor, (born 1974) is a Saint Petersburg, Russia),
At the age of 6 years he started playing violin, later viola. In 1992 he moved to Germany and continued his studies at the Conservatory in Hamburg,Germany. He successfully graduated from the Viola Class of Prof. Marius Nikiteanu in 2001.
Still being student, he played viola in the Lübeck Opera Orchestra, Germany, thean in the Hamburger Symphoniker. He took part in several chamber ensembles at the Schleswig Holstein music Festival, Germany, working together with such famous musicians as Frans Helmerson, Daniel Hope or Alexander Melnikov. He took part in masterclass of Jury Bashmet.

At the meantime, Oleg Snetkov took conducting classes with teachers like Ilya Musin, Jorma Panula and Waldemal Nelson. Then he continued his studies at the Bukharest Music University with Prof. Dimitry Goya whre he graduated in 2005 as a Symphonic and Opera Conductor. Afterwards, He worked as conductor with Dortmund International Orchestra, Germany. Later, he became the head of the New Philharmonia Orchestra Hamburg (Germany). He was working as well with the Metropolitan Choir Pusan ( South Korea), Bodo Sinfonietta and in the Theatre of Bodo (Norway). He also was taking part in the Music Festival of State Hermitage in Saint Petersburg, Russia and in concerts in the Museum House of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in Klin, Russia.
