OiTG.org

OiTG is an open source project to build an IT Governance application. OiTG is one of its kind open source project in the IT industry as of now to provide end - to - end portfolio and process management. It is designed to capture, display report on, and resolve the complexities of business faced by many organizations.
There are few web based application available as of now to digitize and automate business processes, related IT projects, portfolio's and like needs. However all are either licensed or have a focus on a specific area. Oitg provides the freedom to the users and developer communities to imagine and develop features as required.

Project OiTG has been designed using open source frameworks. The foundation is strong enough to take more stress and strain as we go on building features on top of it. There are four major components which act as a backbone for this platform.
Dashboard and Reporting Engine
It's a collection of fine graphical charts. Each chart or dashboard element comes with a data source and rendering agent which make it very flexible to use across pages. Reporting Engine is well designed to produce html report outputs. Other formats will be incorporated very soon.
Process Automation Platform - PAP
PAP is a workflow provider in OiTG. It's very robust and highly scalable workflow engine.
Portfolio Management Module
This module is yet to be finalized however as designed, this will provide basic portfolio management features. NPV / ROI calculations, portfolio evaluations, scenario comparisons, process management etc. are few of the features. This features is currently in design phase.
External Integration Adaptors
This is a group of agents which will facilitate smooth integration with external applications.
