OfficeSIP Messenger is freeware SIP compliant instant messaging client developed by OfficeSIP Communications since 2008. Features include instant messaging, Voice Over IP, and Video Conferencing. Proprietary extensions OfficeSIP Messenger uses a number of Microsoft's extensions to the SIP protocol for Enhanced Presence features. As is the case with most SIP proxy servers, that have not implemented these publicly available extensions may not work correctly. Technical details OfficeSIP Messenger is Windows .NET Framework, WPF application. It uses UCC API for SIP and RTP communications. The UCC API is software library that was used Microsoft for developing Office Communicator. OfficeSIP Messenger can communicate with a SIP proxy server over UDP, TCP and TLS protocol. It implements Digest, NTLM and Kerberos authentication protocols. |
