Ofer Glanz

Ofer Glanz (b. 1965) is an Israeli HiTech Leader, Community Organizer and Activist.
Biography
Glanz was born in Paris, France, but grew up in Ramat-Gan, Israel. He currently lives in Ramat-Gan, Israel with his wife, Maya-Adar Glanz.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of LAW from Bar-Ilan University. Glanz served in the Israeli Defense Forces after which he established IT and consulting firm and was one of Israel first Internet entrepreneurs.
Ofer Glanz joined Comverse Inc. in 1999 and later on led the company globalization process by leading the establishment of Comverse India, China and Ukriane R&D Centers.
Glanz is a speaker and conusltnat on the issues of Globalization, R&D off-shoring and Outsourcing.
Community and Political Activity
Glanz was a member of the "Meimad" political party and served as party secretary-general in 1998. Glanz was elected to serve as "Meimad" candidate to the 17th Knesset.
Member of the "Mashov" group in the Israel Labor Party and headed the committees on "Religion and State" and "Technology".
In 1998 Glanz initiated the "Meimad" covenant on religion and state a convention which was signed by Yossi Beilin and Rabbi Michael Malcior .
In 2003 Glanz established in the city of Modi'in the political movement "Sachar Osim Hinuch" and was elected to the City Council in 2003 where he served as the education portfolio holder for five years and was responsible for the process of building a new strategic plan for education system.
After retiring from Modiin's City Council he served as Chairman of the Board of Modiin Water Corporation in 2009-2010.
Glanz is leading the establishment of a new global Academy - Sustainable Global Leadership Academy (SGLA) which is a unique global Academy looking to enhance future leaders, through implementation of Future Intelligence and Global Sustainability values and by applying holistic approach relating to all relevant dimensions of leadership: Intellectual, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual.
