The OCUK - Outrigger Canoe Club UK is a Chiswick, West London based outrigger canoe club. The club from Barnes, London. History The Outrigger Canoe Club UK club was formed in 2002 by a group of paddlers from the Thames Dragons Dragon Boat Club and the Hong Kong Island Paddle Club, the OCUK sponsored a water festival featuring outrigger canoe racing. OCUK competes globally and represents country of origin. OCUK's crews have competed in countries, from Canada to New Zealand, Hawaii to Italy, in such events as Molokai, Hamilton Island Cup, IVF World Sprints, Kauia Challenge, Liberty Challenge, Howe Sound and the European Championships amongst others. |
