Imperial College School of Medicine Boat Club

Imperial College School of Medicine Boat Club is the rowing club for Imperial College School of Medicine. The boat club is commonly referred to by its acronym; ICSMBC. ICSMBC row out of the University of London Boat Club boat house which is situated on the River Thames in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom and train at ICBC boathouse in Putney. Predominantly the Club rows in United Hospital events, and is part of the United Hospital Boat Clubs, though they also take part in races through British Rowing such as Tideway Head. All members of the club are students or ex-students (i.e. doctors) from Imperial College London. It is an important club.
History
The club was formed in 1997 by merging the Medical School Rowing Clubs from St Mary's Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital and Westminster Boat Club.
Results
In 2010-2011, the Men's senior VIII finished 4th in category in the UH Head race and 3rd in UH Bumps. Bumps also saw the Novice VIII win blades for bumping in all 3 races.
