Not Just Fate is a 2012 debut thriller novel by Shilpa Arora Sharma. The book was released by Pigeon Books in February 2012 during the World Book Fair. Synopsis Not Just Fate is set in India and follows Nivedita Khan, a New Delhi native that is a woman of mixed heritage that is often at odds with the traditional heritage of her ancestors. When two of her friends are met with tragedy, Nivedita must return to India in order to avenge her friends and seek justice for them. Reception The Hindustan Times panned the book, citing an over-attention to detail and an overly drawn out conclusion as downfalls of the novel.. |
