Northwest Aviation Services is an aviation ground handling company in the North-West of Western Australia. The company started service in 1993 at Paraburdoo Airport under the name Paraburdoo Travel Services. The name Northwest Travel Services was used from 1996 when the company expanded to servicing Newman Airport as well as Paraburdoo Airport, and in 2010 the name Northwest Aviation Services was adopted. Northwest Aviation Services has been awarded the contract for servicing airlines at Port Hedland Airport as of Monday, 20 October 2008 and it was also planned to be servicing from Tom Price Airport from late 2009, however the construction of an airport in Tom Price was cancelled due to the current economic situation.. Also owned by Northwest Aviation Services is the local Australian air Express agency in Paraburdoo.
