Keith Madeley is a Yorkshire business leader and current Chairman of the Yorkshire Society. He was born and brought up in Bradford. He established himself as a financial services professional and now sits on the board of directors of various Yorkshire businesses and charities, particularly focusing on community engagement initiatives. He is the current Chairman of The Prince's Trust for Yorkshire and the Humber, email marketing company HoneyPot Mail and Tadcaster based Kaleton IT Solutions. His focus on promoting his home county has led to him being given the nickname "Mr. Yorkshire.". In January 2011 Keith's work promoting Yorkshire was recognised by the Queen and he was awarded an MBE in the New Year's honours list for services to the communities of the region. |
