Nikolai Ivanovich Kurbatov () is a Russian video editor, poet and publicist, author of thousands works, the founder of trailer poetics and dialogue construction of the trailer, nominee of Russian national award Poet of the year 2017 and the international award Philanthropist. His videos were many times trailers of trailers channels on YouTube in Russia and in the West, poems were published in the groups in VK with hundreds of thousands and millions of subscribers. He was entered 8 times in the Russian book of records, including as author of the highest rated movie trailer (The Lion King Russian Fan-Made Trailer as of August 8, 2016), most liked video without dislikes (The Great Gatsby Fan-Made Video Clip as of August 11, 2016) and most viewed video without dislikes (The Revenant Russian Fan-Made Trailer as of August 12, 2016). His videos has tens millions of views on YouTube. Nikolai was editor of the official trailers for movies No men, Home, Atomic Ivan, Tomorrow, Not quite simple story, The Aunties, Composer, The House Elf, film festival Radiant Angel, showreel for Nadezhda Mikhalkova, versions of the official videos for movies August Eighth, Children, All at Once and Winter Journey and creator of thousands articles in about movies and rural localities. Since 2011 he suffers from bipolar disorder. Nikolai was included in Encyclopedia of cinema and Encyclopedia of the Internet.
