A literal trailer is a video which previews a feature film or video game, while being comically amusing to the audience, but may be serious at times. A literal trailer makes use of comical lyrics on screen, and vocals with various levels of harmonies. Literal trailers were created by the youtube user Tobuscus whose real name is Toby Turner. History The first literal trailer was shown to the world on December 8, 2009 on Tobuscus' youtube channel. It was a trailer to the film Clash of the Titans, and 19 have been made since then. The latest one being the trailer for Assassin's Creed: Revelations. |
