Nicole Joy Tan is a Singaporean/Australian actress. Born in Singapore on 4th July 1988, she is the youngest of five children. Tan was raised in Melbourne, Australia and trained with the Australian Ballet school for nearly 8 years, dancing with the Australian Ballet and the Royal Ballet on occasions. After she received her diploma in Classical and contemporary dance at age 17 she auditioned for and received the role of 'Bec' in Summer Heights High.
Recently she came second runner up in the "Newpaper NewFace" modeling competition in Singapore and won 'Miss Photogenic' and 'Miss Congeniality'. At the same time she is also acting with the Disney Channel in Singapore.
