Nicholas Efthimiou Nixo (born November 15, 1966), is an American player who played his professional soccer in the United States from 1990-1999. He played for the Dallas Sidekicks and was a player in the Continental Indoor Soccer League championship in 1993 and the Premier Soccer Alliance in 1998 In 1998 Efthimiou was selected to the US National national team in the United States national futsal team in Brazil. History and Achievements Efthimiou was called up to the senior indoor Soccer Bowl and was drafted by the Dallas Sidekicks in the fourth round (thirty-first overall) of the Major Indoor Soccer League draft. After college, he played for FC Dallas in the Lone Star Soccer Alliance and won the LSSA championship. Efthimiou also won the championship with the Austin Thunder and signed with the Dallas Sidekicks as a free agent in 1993. He won the 1993 Continental Indoor Soccer League (C.I.S.L.) Championship and the Premier Soccer Alliance (P.S.A.) Championship in 1998. He played for the Dallas Sidekicks from 1993-1999. He retired in 1999 due to health reasons.
