Net Die Een Vir My

"Net die een vir my" is a South African remake of the song Dragostea din tei written and performed by Nicholis Louw and Shine4 in Afrikaans.
Song translation
The lyrics basically sing about a young businessman who is involved in an open relationship with four other women (Shine4) who is trying to search for the one he can love and marry .
Here is the English translation of the lyrics (the original 'Ma-ya-hi' refrain at the beginning and throughout is the same as the original song):
(Ma-ya-hi refrain)
Remember, our kiss, last night, ten outta ten.
Wanna say your brown eyes look right through me, through my heart.
Hello, hello, I'm out, leave a message after the beep
I'll call you back, thank you for last night's movie.
CHORUS (2x)
I want to say say you're just the one for me,
Just the one for me, just the, just the one for me.
But Your voice mail is all that I get,
I want to say you're one for me.
Repeat
(Ma-ya-hi refrain)
I must, see you, tonight, oh come on,
Say yes, pick up your phone, say yes, if I ask you
Hello, hello, I am still out, leave a message after the beep
I'll call you back, thank you for last night's movie.
CHORUS (2x)
I will say you're just the one for me,
Just the one for me, just the, just the one for me.
But Your voice mail is all that I get,
I want to say you're one for me.
Repeat
(Ma-ya-hi refrain 2x)
CHORUS (2x)
I will say you're just the one for me,
Just the one for me, just the, just the one for me.
Your voice mail is all that I get,
I want to say you're one for me.
Music video
The music video was filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa, the beginning shows a scene on the streets of the city, and shows the office building Nicholis Louw's character works in. After that, it jumps to an outer freeway area and shows him driving in a souped-up 90s Hyundai Tiburon. By the time the second half of the verse comes around, it shows Nicholas' girlfriends on a bed having a sleepover and talking to him and sharing one phone. Throughout the video, it also shows scenes of him dating each of the women, often jumping from one date to the next, usually in the same setting.
