Neri Karra is a fashion entrepreneur and academic. She holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and has a leather accessories brand, Neri Karra. Career In 2010, Karra was also the Finalist at Luxuria Awards for Best Young Entrepreneur. Academic Life Karra holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where she studied on a Trust Overseas Scholarship. She published her doctoral thesis as Beyond Borders: An Analysis of Factors Explaining Accelerated Internationalization Process in Born-Global Firms. During 2008 and 2009, Karra managed the Designing Demand programme at Design London, a centre for innovation created by Imperial College Business School and Royal College of Art. In the following year, Neri Karra directed the Luxury Brand Management programme at Regent's College. Karra is also the author and co-author of several academic papers, including "Rethinking institutional distance: strengthening the tie between new institutional theory and international management" and "Researching “Back Home”: International Management Research as Autoethnography" Affiliations Neri Karra is a member of the Academy of International Business and a Search Research Fellow at the London School of Economics.
