Neale R. Stoner

Neale Stoner is a former athletic director at California State University, Fullerton, home of the Cal State Fullerton Titans, from 1972-1979. He was also athletic director at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, from (1980-1988). Stoner was a 1962 graduate of Orange County State College, which is now known as California State University, Fullerton.

Collegiate playing career
Stoner played two years (1961 and 1962 seasons) on both the varsity men's basketball squad and tennis. He played on the first CSUF (Orange County State College) Men's Basketball squad in 1960-61 season coached by Alex Omalev which had a team record for the season (16 wins-14 losses). Stoner's 1960-61 stats on his 30 games played that season he average 13.9 points per game and scored 418 points total for the season and shot 84% from the free throw line.
