Nea Anna Simone (born December 11, 1960) is an American novelist. Her novel Reborn was nominated for the Hurston-Wright Legacy Award. In 2000, Simone wrote the novel Reaching BACK for which she received the Atlanta Daily World Best in Fiction Award. She also wrote the novels Reborn (2006) and The Substance of Things (2013).
