The NC Media Law Handbook, currently in its 3rd Edition, is intended to serve as a guidebook for journalists, attorneys, teachers, students, judges, and other persons concerned about the freedom of the press, the newsgathering process, and open government. The guidebook is owned by the NC Press Foundation and is edited by distinguished UNC-CH professor Cathy Packer, Hugh Stevens & C. Amanda Martin.
