Nash salad

A Nash salad is a salad which consists of mixed greens (usually rocket, watercress and uncooked spinach) with croutons, chicken, blue cheese, digestive biscuits dressed with vinaigrette. There are many variations, the most common of which is to replace chicken with bacon.
Origin
The salads creation is attributed to Daniel Nash, a medical student from Devon who created the salad one evening from ingredients left over from other salads the previous week. The salad quickly caught on among other students and in December 2010, was added to the menu of the Temple Bay restaurant in Exeter, other restaurants soon followed this trend.
