Nagardola is Bengali film released in 2012. The story is that of a lonely 38 year old divorced teacher finding solace in an explicit sexual relationship with her neighbour who is 24 years old. The film's central theme is that of sexual relationship providing solace to a grieving soul. The film was given an Adult certificate by the censor board for its extremely bold love-making scenes. The movie was also banned in certain areas due to its bold content. A particular scene where the film's lead actress swapna sio' s genitals being licked by the actor was objected all around. Besides the film also contains a record 27 smooches and a 6 minute explicit shower sex scene. There were calls for the Bengali film fraternity to boycott the director Tarun das and actress swapna sio. |
