Nabis is an online marketplace for cannabis. The company is one of the largest business-to-business distributors of cannabis in California.
Services
Nabis acts as an intermediary between cannabis cultivators (manufacturers) and dispensaries (retailers). For cultivators, the company provides inventory management software and warehouses. For dispensaries, the company provides wholesaling and delivery.
Nabis works with about 100 cultivators, including Pabst Blue Ribbon and Biscotti, and about 700 dispensaries.
Company
In 2017, Vince Ning and Jun Lee, former software engineers at Microsoft and Facebook, respectively, founded Nabis. Ning is the company's CEO; Lee is the president.
In 2019, the company graduated from the startup accelerator Y Combinator.
Nabis' investors include Y Combinator, Stanley Tang, and Paul Buchheit.
