Nabil A Rastani is contemporary British born Persian Iranologist, who specialises in ancient Iranian history. He is one of the "historical correspondents" for the monumental magazine Iranian.com. Rastani has written over ten articles for the magazine. He has also worked with Kaveh Farrokh and many of his pages and readings have been featured on Farrokh's own official website. His articles cover a range of ancient historical topics, including the little studied or researched cuisine of ancient Iran, Sassanian architecture, Persian Immortals, Cataphracts, Fars, Sino-Persian relations and the medicine of Ancient Iran. He has been praised by critics and historians alike for his efforts on Iranian History. These include the highly respected critic and media consultant, Darius Kadivar.
