N. R. Parasuraman

N. R. Parasuraman is an author and a Senior Professor of Finance. He is currently the Director of SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysore.
Under his leadership, SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) received international accreditation from Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) as well as EFMD Programme Accreditation System (EPAS). The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme at SDMIMD is the only PGDM in India with dual accreditation from ACBSP and EPAS. He was awarded the "Leadership in Education Award-2018" by the Higher Education Forum (HEF).
In 2019, Parasuraman was appointed to the EPAS Accreditation Board and is the only member from India on the EPAS Board.
Besides books related to financial management and financial derivatives, Parasuraman has co-authored with Eugene Brigham and Scott Besley the South-Asian edition of ‘Corporate Finance (CFIN)’ brought out by Cengage.<ref name="SDMIMD"/>
