myhomepage.com is an internet start up venture founded in 2009 by Max Aengevelt and Massimo Agostinelli. myhomepage provides a free personalized home page platform which allows users to save, sort, share and automatically log into their favourite websites from any location using a single username and password.
Technology
myhomepage is a Microsoft Development Partner built on a .Net SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) development platform with an html AJAX front end. The technology is hosted in a world-class state of the art secure hosting environment to ensure maximum protection for user information and to maximize the availability and speed of the website.
High Level Domain
In 2009 myhomepage.com was purchased for $50,000 from Buydomaines.com and soon after nearly all other 'High Level Domain' country codes were purchased including myhomepage.ru and shortening URL's such as myho.com making it in the top 100 most valuable domain URL's in the world. In 2009 myhomepage.com was ranked in the top 10 on KillerStartups.com. Soon after in 2010 co-founders Max Aengevelt and Massimo Agostinelli were interviewed by OK TV.
Statistics
According to Wolframalpha and Alexa myhomepage.com had 72,000 daily page views equating to over 2.2 million page views per month and over 300,000 registered users in its first year of launching in 2009 onto 2010 - entering into the top 100,000 sites world wide and peaking into the top 16,000 websites in the United kingdom.
