My Mommy Manual

My Mommy Manual is a company that provides mothers with support and resources. Moms have access to daily "practical and inspired tips" via the web site, mobile and desktop applications, Yahoo! ConnectTV, and frequent TV guest appearances. The company also hosts regular online and offline events that connect moms with each other. My Mommy Manual partners with retailers and suppliers to provide meaningful and relevant content to it's mom audience. The company is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
The company's motto is "Why go through life alone when we can hold hands?" One of the company's signature products is called the Holding Hands bracelet that symbolizes this motto. Instead of being a prescriptive "manual," the founders invite moms to contribute to a growing collection of mommy wisdom, one that empowers moms to trust their intuition when it comes to parenting their children.
About My Mommy Manual
History
My Mommy Manual was founded in 2008 by moms and best friends, Ria Sharon and Suzanne Tucker a.k.a. Practical Mommy and Zen Mommy for the purpose of connecting moms through the sharing of tips and "mommy wisdom." At first, the tips were primarily written content but very soon evolved to include video and other mediums. The team also grew to include over 20 contributing "Expert Mommies," from parenting coaches, pediatricians, and authors.
In March 2010, My Mommy Manual launched an online parenting course called Yoga Parenting. The course is based on the eight most powerful and important principles of yoga and is available to parents worldwide via the internet. Yoga Parenting promises participants more joy and less stress by teaching parents to empower rather than overpower their children in eight simple lessons.
In August 2010, My Mommy Manual joined the OpenSky Project Founder's Club as a retailer of mom and baby-related products.
My Mommy Manual is also engaged is various mom- and child-focused charities, including the March of Dimes, Parents As Teachers, and Operation Shower.
