My Fake Husband is a 2008 romantic comedy film, written and directed by Christine Shin. It received the 2008 fellowship from Filmmakers Development Lab by Korean Film Council and was selected as a runner-up for 2008 New Writers Award by Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment and FOX. Synopsis Jihyun is a domineering Korean woman who marries a Caucasian male against her family's wish and later discovers her husband's infidelity. When asked to come home to Korea due to her father's surgery, she decides to hire a fake husband to save face in front of the whole family. Cast |
